A rock-trimmed islet in the Sound of Raasay, Holoman Island is situated 2¼ miles (3.6 km) north of Clachan at the northern end of Holoman Bay, on the west coast of Raasay, to which it is attached at low tide. It extends to just 1.3 ha (3.3 acres) but rises steeply to 18m (59 feet).
