A small loch lying deep within the Glentrool Forest in NW Dumfries and Galloway, Kirriereoch Loch is located between the Water of Minnoch and the Kirriemore Burn, within a quarter-mile (0.5 km) of the boundary with South Ayrshire and 8½ miles (14 km) east northeast of Barrhill. It extends to an area of 6.8 ha (16.8 acres).
