St James's Lochs

A pair of lochans nestling within the summits known as the Hill of Garvock, St. James's Lochs are located 2 miles (3 km) east of Laurencekirk in Aberdeenshire. Erroneously labelled as St. Jame's Lochs on recent editions of the Ordnance Survey Landranger map (2001-08), the more northerly of the pair casts off a runnel to the northwest which becomes a headstream of the Luther Water, while the other is the source of the St. James's Burn, which becomes the Finella Burn.
