Logan Reservoir

A small reservoir retained by an earth embankment dam in South Lanarkshire, Logan is located 5½ miles (9 km) south southeast of Strathaven and 6 miles (10 km) west northwest of Douglas. Opened in 1901 for the supply of drinking-water, it is now operated by Scottish Water. The reservoir covers an area of 15.8 ha (39 acres) and is the source of the Logan Water.
