Earlsburn No.1 Reservoir

The northwestern of a pair of similarly-sized reservoirs on Touchadam Muir in Stirling Council Area, Earlsburn No.1 Reservoir lies on the Earl's Burn, a half-mile (1 km) west of the Earl's Hill and 6 miles (10 km) west southwest of Stirling. Retained by an earth embankment dam, it is operated by Scottish Water for the supply of drinking-water and covers an area of 25.2 ha (62 acres). Earlsburn Wind Farm lies to the west.
