River Kilennan


(Kilennan River)

A river located in the centre of eastern lobe of the island of Islay in the Inner Hebrides, the River Kilennan (or Kilennan River) rises as headstreams which descend from the northwestern slopes on the island's highest peak, Beinn Bheigeir. It flows west for 5 miles / 8 km to Avinlussa, where it becomes a tributary of the River Laggan.
