A rock-trimmed drying island of the Arisaig district of Highland Council Area, Eilean Ighe is situated a quarter-mile (0.4 km) west of Gortenachullish and 2 miles (3 km) northwest of the village of Arisaig. It lies to the north of the entrance Loch nan Ceall, the northernmost of a group of islands, islets and rocks scattered across the mouth of the loch.
