Kilmorie Stone Cross, Kirkcolm

A Pictish cross-slab dating from the 9th-10th Century, the Kilmorie (or Kilmore) Cross has been located in Kirkcolm kirkyard in the North Rhins of Galloway since 1989. Originally located near St Mary's Croft, 2½ miles (4 km) south of Kirkcolm, it was moved to the grounds of Corsewall House in the 19th century. Its design is unique in Dumfries and Galloway.
