A stream which rises to the northwest of Mortonhall House in SE Edinburgh, the Stenhouse Burn flows east through Mortonhall Cemetery and Gracemount before passing Liberton Hospital to fall into Ellen's Glen, where it joins the Burdiehouse Burn, having completed a course of 2 miles (3 km).
