Pladda

Pladda is the name of a small island located off the southern coastline of the island of Arran, North Ayrshire. Located within the Firth of Clyde and separated from Arran by the Sound of Pladda, this island is uninhabited. It is the site of one of the first of the Northern Lighthouse Board's lights, built in 1790 by Thomas Smith (1752 - 1814).
