East Mount Lowther


One of the Lowther Hills in Dumfries and Galloway, East Mount Lowther (or Auchenlone) rises to 631m (2070 feet) a mile (1.5 km) southwest of Lowther Hill and 2 miles (3 km) south of Wanlockhead. A bronze geographical indicator on a pillar at the summit was the work of Wanlockhead Youth Club and placed here in 1944.
