The northernmost street in St. Andrews (Fife), The Scores extends east from the first tee of St. Andrews Old Course to North Castle Street, opposite St. Andrews Castle. To the south are many buildings belonging to the University of St. Andrews, together with hotels, guest houses and a few private homes, while on its northern side substantial villas lie at the top of cliffs above St. Andrews Bay. Some of these villas also belong to the university, and include MUSA, together with St. Andrews Aquarium, the British Golf Museum and St. James Church. Also located to the north of The Scores are the Martyrs Monument and a B-listed cast-iron bandstand, which was the work of the Saracen Foundry in Glasgow and installed in 1905.
In 2016, researchers determined that The Scores was the most expensive street in Scotland, with house prices averaging £2,179,000.
