A summit of Dumfries and Galloway, located close to the border with East Ayrshire, Benbrack rises to 448m (1469 feet) a mile (1.5 km) east of Eriff and 5 miles (8 km) southeast of Dalmellington. Another Benbrack is located 3 miles (5 km) to the north.
