A central district of New Bonhill in West Dunbartonshire Council Area, Ladyton lies between the districts of O'Hare and Redburn, a half-mile (1 km) southeast of Alexandria. Comprising a public housing development, Ladyton benefits from a small shopping centre, a primary school with a roll of 111 in 2002 and a library (opened in 1973).
