A summit in E Dumfries and Galloway, Cockplay Hill rises to 398m (1305 feet) a half-mile (1 km) northwest of Pike Fell and 7 miles (11 km) north northeast of Langholm. Another Cockplay Hill is located in the Scottish Borders 2 miles (3 km) to the east.
