St. Michael's Bridge over the River Nith, Dumfries

The most southerly of Dumfries' road bridges, St. Michael's Bridge conveys traffic over the River Nith and comprises four arches. Built in 1925, it was constructed of concrete, faced with local red sandstone. Roundels on its outside walls bear the arms of Dumfries and Maxwelltown.
