Trailtrow Hill


(Repentance Hill)

A hill in S Dumfries and Galloway, overlooking the Solway Firth, Trailtrow Hill (or sometimes Repentance Hill) rises to 113m (370 feet) 2 miles (3 km) northwest of Brycekirk and 3 miles (5 km) southwest of Ecclefechan. On its exposed summit are the 16th-century Repentance Tower and an 18th-century burial ground.
