Dawston Burn

A small river of Liddesdale in the SW Scottish Borders, the Dawston Burn forms at the junction of Alison Sike and the Cliffhope Burn. It flows southeast for a half-mile (1 km) until it reaches the B6357 road, where it turns southwest, parallel to that road, for 2 miles (3 km) to Saughtree to become a significant tributary of the Liddel Water.
