Sound of Ulva

A channel which separates the island of Ulva from Mull in Argyll and Bute, the Sound of Ulva is located on the northern side of the entrance to Loch Na Keal, connecting this sea loch with Loch Tuath to the northwest. The northern entrance to the sound is almost blocked by the islands of Eilean a' Chaolais. A passenger ferry crosses the sound, providing the only regular access to Ulva.
