Eilean Dubh

A small wooded island at the mouth of Loch Riddon in S Argyll & Bute, Eilean Dubh lies a half-mile (0.8 km) north northwest of Buttock Point on the Isle of Bute and 1¾ miles (2.8 km) northwest of Colintraive. This rock-trimmed island rises 19m (62 feet) and has a navigation beacon at its northern tip. Although uninhabited, there is a small cemetery on the island.
