A picturesque little valley within the Drumtochty Forest to the north of Strath Finella in SE Aberdeenshire, Friar's Glen lies below the Abbot's Face, a mile (1.5 km) west of Drumtochty Castle. The Friarsglen Burn flows through the valley, passing the Priest's Wells as it turns sharply to the south.
