Hill of Airthrey

A summit at the western end of the Ochil Hills, the Hill of Airthrey rises to 165m (541 feet) a half-mile (0.8 km) north northeast of Bridge of Allan in NE Stirling Council Area. Mine Wood occupies its southern slopes, where copper was extracted from the early 16th C. until 1807.
