Voe of Browland

A sea-loch which represents an arm of Gruting Voe, which penetrates deeply into the south coast of the Walls Peninsula in the West Mainland of Shetland, the Voe of Browland lies to the north of Mara Ness, 1½ miles (2.5 km) east northeast of the village of Walls. Its entrance lies opposite Scutta Voe and it is connected to the Loch of Brouster at its head, immediately to the west of the township of Bridge of Walls. The settlement of Browland lies on its eastern shore.
