A cave which represents the longest on the Isle of Skye in the Inner Hebrides, Valley Head Cave (Gael: Uamh Cinn Ghlinn) is located on the course of the Allt nan Leac, 2 miles (3 km) southeast of Torrin, on the southern slopes of Beinn an Dubhaich. Discovered by cavers in 1971, the cave extends for almost 400m (1300 feet) from a sink hole to a resurgence at the bottom of a cliff.
