A summit amongst the Lammermuir Hills of the NE Scottish Borders, Mainslaughter Hill rises to 422m (1384 feet) 2¾ miles (4.5 km) northwest of Longformacus. The boundary with East Lothian lies at the base of the hill, a half-mile (0.8 km) to the northwest.
