Shaw Hill

Comprising a pair of forest-covered summits arranged along a ridge within the Hartree Hills, Shaw Hill is located within South Lanarkshire, rising to 332m (1089 feet) a quarter-mile (0.5 km) southwest of Threepland Hill and a mile (1.5 km) east of Coulter. The boundary with the Scottish Borders lies immediately to the northeast and the subsidiary summit rises to 358m (1174 feet) a half-mile (1 km) to the southwest. There are well-developed cultivation terraces on the southeastern slopes of the hill.
