A wooded summit overlooking the north bank of the River Tweed, Castle Hill rises to 324m (1062 feet) a half-mile (1 km) northeast of Horsbrugh Castle and 2½ miles (4 km) east of Peebles. The remains of a hill-fort lie at its summit.
