Old Hill

(Seanna Chnoc)

Old Hill (Gael: Seana Chnoc) is a small, uninhabited but conspicuous island of the Outer Hebrides. It is located 2 miles (3 km) northwest of Little Bernera, off the west coast of the Isle of Lewis. It has a peculiar lump-like appearance from the east or west, although is more elongated, resembling a loaf of bread, from the north, with dark cavernous cliffs rising steeply from the sea to 92m / 300 feet.
