The Hill of Stanks represents an extension to Bodandere Hill on the northwestern flank of Cat Law in W Angus. It rises to 484m (1587 feet) to the east of Glen Quharity and 7½ miles (12 km) northwest of Kirriemuir. Glen Dye lies to the north.
