A summit of the S Grampians in NW Angus, The Goal rises to just beyond 450m (1476 feet) between Glen Prosen and Glen Clova, 2½ miles (4 km) north northwest of Dykehead. A summit unnamed on the Ordnance Survey map rises to 459m (1505 feet) a quarter-mile (0.4 km) to the west northwest.
