Loch of Funzie

A roadside loch in the southeast of the island of Fetlar in Shetland, the Loch of Funzie is located next to the B9088 a quarter-mile (0.5 km) west of the small settlement of Funzie. It casts off the Burn of Funzie. The loch is noted for its population of Red Necked Phalarope (Phalaropus lobatus), one of Britain's rarest breeding birds. A Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) reserve lies adjacent.
