A shallow little lochan within the Sidlaw Hills of SW Angus, Smith Loch lies on the western slopes of Smithton Hill, a quarter-mile (0.4 km) southwest of Ledcrieff Loch and a mile (1.6 km) of the hamlet of Lundie.
