Moncreiffe Chapel

Moncreiffe Chapel is a scheduled ancient monument lying within the parkland surrounding Moncreiffe House, a mile (1.6 km) north of Bridge of Earn in Perth and Kinross. The ruined chapel is certainly Pre-Reformation and records suggest there was a chapel here in 1208. In 1887, the chapel was remodelled with the addition of an apse and buttressed transepts. What remains is rectangular in plan, 9.1m (30 feet) by 5.5 m (18 feet), with a bellcote perched on its solitary standing gable.
