An small island in the Outer Hebrides, Lingay (Gael: Liungaigh) lies in the Sound of Harris, midway between South Harris and North Uist. It is located amongst a group of small islands with Gilsay, Scaravay and Groay. Uninhabited, it rises to 28m (92 feet).
