A peninsula, or tied island, on the southwest coast of the Cowal peninsula (Argyll and Bute), Eilean Aoidhe is located 1½ miles (2.5 km) south of Portavadie. It rises to a height of 37m (121 feet) and is linked to the mainland by a tombolo, which separates the inlets of Port Leathan and Salann Bay.
