Hill of Caldback

A summit at the centre of the island of Unst in Shetland, the Hill of Caldback rises to 116m (380 feet) 1½ miles (2.5 km) south southwest of Baltasound, from which the A968 road climbs steeply around its western flank just below the summit. A much-damaged chambered cairn lies close to the summit that is said to be the most northerly Neolithic passage grave still in existence in Europe.
