Loch Maberry

A modest loch within the Galloway Forest of Dumfries and Galloway, Loch Maberry lies at the head of the River Bladnoch, 10 miles (16 km) northwest of Newton Stewart. Extending to 68.7 ha (170 acres), it contains several islets most of which are wooded. It supports a recreational fishery.
