A small shallow loch in W Fife, Loch Fitty is located 2½ miles (4 km) west of Cowdenbeath and 3 miles (5 km) northeast of Dunfermline. It extends to 69 ha (170 acres) and is a noted centre for sports fishing, stocked with rainbow and brown trout, together with other species for the course angler. St Ninian's Opencast coal mine lies to the north.
