The loftiest summit on the Oa in the extreme south of Islay in the Inner Hebrides, Beinn Mhor rises to 202m (662 feet) on the south coast of the peninsula, a mile (1.8 km) south southwest of Loch Kinnabus. Classified as a Marilyn, its summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar, falls steeply into the sea as cliffs, but offers remarkable views south to the Antrim coast of Northern Ireland.
