Ben Bowie

A distinctive and steep little hill of E Argyll and Bute, Ben Bowie rises to a height of 313m (1026 feet), 2½ miles (4 km) east of Helensburgh. Its distinctive shape comes about from its position on the Highland Boundary Fault. Its northeastern slopes are cloaked in plantation forest.
