Cnoc Donn

A modest but prominent hill in the centre of the island of Islay in the Inner Hebrides, Cnoc Donn rises to just 98m (321 feet) a mile (1.5 km) northeast of Beinn Churlaich and 2 miles (3 km) east southeast of Bowmore. Its summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar. There are two other similarly-named hills nearby; 2¾ miles (4.5 km) to the northeast (also topped with a triangulation pillar) and 4 miles (6.5 km) to the north northwest.
