A prominent hill lying to the east of the entrance to Loch Gruinart in the N of the island of Islay in Argyll and Bute, Sgarbh Dubh rises to 295m (967 feet) 2½ miles (4 km) east northeast of Gortantaoid Point. Its summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar.
