Turnaichaidh

A prominent summit that lies at the northeastern end of a ridge which overlooks Machir Bay in the W of the Rhinns of Islay in the Inner Hebrides, Turnaichaidh rises to 170m (557 feet) a quarter-mile (0.5 km) southeast of Kilchoman. An Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar marks the top, while the wall of Creag Mhor lies to the northwest.
