Pappert Hill

One of the westernmost of the Kilpatrick Hills, abutting the Vale of Leven in West Dunbartonshire, Pappert Hill rises to 257m (843 feet) 1¼ miles (2 km) east northeast of Bonhill. Its summit offers fine views to Dumbarton and the Firth of Clyde to the southwest, and over Loch Lomond to Ben Lomond to the north. It is surrounded by plantation forest (Nobleston Wood) and Auchenreoch Muir lies to the southeast. West Dunbartonshire Council have created a 4-mile (6-km) circular path from Bonhill to the summit.
