A southern spur of the prominent White Coomb in NE Dumfries and Galloway, Carrifran Gans has steep sides and a craggy west face. The summit rises to 757m (2483 feet) overlooking Carrifran Burn to the southwest, 1¼ miles (2 km) north northwest of Polmoodie.
