A hill with an extensive and complex plateaux summit in the W of Dumfries and Galloway, Carscreugh Fell rises to 171m (561 feet) 2 miles (3 km) northeast of Whitecairn. The Carscreugh Wind Farm extends from the summit of the hill for a mile (1.8 km) to the southwest.
