Cairn Fell

A hill in the South Rhins of Galloway in Dumfries and Galloway, Cairn Fell rises to 164m (538 feet) 1¼ miles (2 km) west southwest of Kirkmaiden and a similar distance east of Laggantalluch Head. A large pile of stones around 16m (52 feet) in diameter, known as Cairn More, occupies the summit and has been interpreted by some as the remains of a hill-fort.
