Black Hill

A summit within the Lowther Hills in the N Dumfries and Galloway, Black Hill rises to 550m (1804 feet) overlooking Wanlockhead, a half-mile (0.8 km) to the northwest. A shaft associated with historical lead mining can be seen on its eastern slopes.
