A hill in NW Dumfries and Galloway, the summit of Craigmurchie is marked by an Ordnance Survey triangulation point and rises to 286m (938 feet), completely surrounded by the Glentrool Forest, 5½ miles (9 km) north northwest of Newton Stewart.
