A hill with two summits on the eastern edge of the Forest of Ae in NE Dumfries and Galloway, Grey Mare rises to 385m (1263 feet) and 381m (1250 feet) a half-mile (0.8 km) northeast of Holehouse Hill and 5 miles (8 km) west northwest of Johnstonebridge.
